Rankings differ by publisher and year, so treat one position as one view. How we compile rankings.
What can you study at the University of Medicine 1?
The site has study pages for the MBBS, the Master of Medical Science, diplomas and PhD/doctorate courses.[3] MBBS years 1 and 2 are organised in 10 modules, each with a learner’s guide.[3]
The MBBS takes seven years: first M.B., B.S. (1 year), second (1.5 years), third (1 year), final part I (1 year), final part II (1.5 years) and a one-year house-officer training in teaching and state or division hospitals; the degree is conferred only after the training. Pre-clinical years include botany, zoology, English, Myanmar, chemistry, mathematics, physics and behavioural sciences, then anatomy, physiology and biochemistry.[4]
The campuses split the teaching: Lanmadaw holds the paraclinical subjects, administration and library; the Pyay sites teach first- and second-year MBBS students; Thahtone focuses on the foundation year and pre-clinical stages.[3]
How much does the University of Medicine 1 cost?
The pages we read give no tuition or fee information, neither for Myanmar students nor for foreign students.[3][4] We therefore show no amount and no academic year. The home page says need-based scholarships are available for qualified candidates from across the country.[3]

The MBBS entry requirements on the university’s page are: a pass in the Basic Education High School Examination in a science combination; an aggregate score at or above the minimum cut-off set by the Selection Board; Myanmar nationality, “except for the exchange students”; and good health at admission. Selection is handled by the Department of Higher Education.[4]
So, according to this page, foreign nationals can enter the MBBS as exchange students but not through the national selection. The site has no page on international admissions or on postgraduate entry for foreign applicants.[3] Contact the university directly (phone and address are on its home page).[3] We give no deadlines.

The MBBS page does not state the language of instruction or any language test.[4] English and Myanmar appear as subjects in the first MBBS years.[4] Ask the university which language your course uses.
