The Tuition Grant and its bond
Local and international full-time students admitted on a subsidised basis are eligible for the MOE tuition grant for the normal duration of the degree, usually three or four years. Permanent Residents and international students who accept it must sign the Tuition Grant Agreement and work for a Singapore entity for three years after graduation.[5] You opt in on the admission application form and say whether you accept the place with or without the grant before the closing date in July. Registration with MOE happens in September; two sureties of any nationality, aged 21 to under 65, are required.[5]
Other costs
Miscellaneous fees are charged on top of tuition, and NTU publishes them on a separate AY2026-27 page that we did not read.[5] For rent and living costs, see our Study in Singapore guide.
